Workshop: Digital Kids Club

Targets: Co-Ed, Girls Only versions

Duration: Monthly, Semester versions

Description: Through partnerships with Public School Districts, Michigan Science Center, Acceler8te Kid (formerly Kidpreneur) and over a dozen other non-profits the goal of this workshop is an offer onging acess to computer science education, exploration and hands on experiments.

Monthly: Students participate in monthly or bi-weekly digital exploration sessions with hands-on labs designed to introduce the core concepts of computer science logic, problem solving and technology usage.

Semester: Students participate in semester of year-long computer science courses designed to introduce computer science logic, problem solving, syntax, languages and ongoing projects as we focus on enabling digital literacy from a young age.

Objective: Students gain confidence and foundational computer science education as well as hands-on digital experience through ongoing attendence and membership.
